What is Rainbow?
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) is a service organization for girls between the ages of 11 and 20. Local groups, called assemblies, meet twice a month and plan a variety of service, charitable, social, and fundraising activities throughout the year. Any girl of good character who in interested in making friends, having fun, and serving her community is eligible to apply to join Rainbow. Girls ages 8-10 who wish to join Rainbow when they turn 11 can join a Pledge Group, which meets once a month. IORG does not discriminate based on race, creed, or religion.
